In accordance with Rule 3(2) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and Rule 4 of the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, Udhyogii has appointed a Grievance Officer for the Platform.

The Grievance Officer handles complaints about: content appearing on the Platform (including a fake or misleading listing you have already reported and are not satisfied with); how your personal data, or a student's data, has been collected, shared or retained; a verification decision you believe is wrong; and billing or subscription disputes for a paid Institution plan.
| Type of complaint | Acknowledged within | Resolved within | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Content / platform grievance (fake listing, data misuse, verification dispute) | 24 hours | 15 days | IT Rules, 2021, Rule 3(2) |

Drafting note: Some categories of content complaint may be subject to a shorter disposal window under amendments to the IT Rules made in 2026; where a shorter statutory window applies, Udhyogii will meet the shorter of the two.
If a complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction within the applicable timeline, you may escalate: a data-protection complaint to the Data Protection Board of India; a consumer or billing complaint to the National Consumer Helpline (1915) or the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission; and, where you believe the underlying conduct is criminal (for example, a listing that solicited payment from a student), directly to your local police cyber-crime cell, the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in), or the national cyber-fraud helpline (1930). Using Udhyogii's grievance mechanism does not require you to give up, and does not extend or toll, any right to approach these authorities directly.
